Leon County officials expect to make arrests after seizing 14 pit bulls used for dogfighting.
Deputies are still trying to determine if there are multiple owners and which dogs lived on the property where animal-control officers picked up the dogs. No charges have been filed yet.
Dogfighting, possessing a fight dog, or being a spectator are felonies.
Reports say the dogs had internal parasites and needed other medical attention. It's not yet clear what will happen to the dogs.
