A plane crash just east of DeFuniak Springs has killed one person.
The plane, a Mitsubishie MU-2, was on a flight from Tulsa, OK to Panama City at the time of the mishap.
It crashed just off County Road 183 and Hosie Adams Road a couple of miles east-southeast of DeFuniak Springs in a wooded around 11:30 Friday morning.
The pilot, who was killed, was identified as Buddy Head from Panama City. He was a contract pilot for Berg Pipe
NewsChannel Seven has learned the plane was on loan to Berg Steel Pipe in Panama City while Berg's plane is undergoing maintenance in Tulsa.
The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.
