While Don Biggers was busy celebrating the birth of his first grandchild this past year he couldn't help feeling some sorrow along with the joy.

"Pam's not here and she would have loved that child to death that's something she's missing right now," says Don Biggers.

She disappeared from the Thomas Drive La Quinta Inn on January 27th, 2008.

Her family, friends, even total strangers joined investigators, thoroughly searching the area surrounding the hotel.

Volunteers from the Texas-based Equusearch Organization even came to Panama City Beach to assist the Bay County Sheriff's Office.

Although, the hard work never turned up any substantial leads, the effort hasn't gone unnoticed.

"I have to hand it to the Bay County Sheriff's Department they didn't waste sorry it's still hard they didn't waste anytime that Monday searching for my wife," says Don Biggers.

Investigator Mitch Pitts with the Bay County Sheriff's Office still regularly talks with bigger's sister and husband.

Pitts says, "Last week we talked to her sister and husband by phone and e-mail."

Biggers suffered from a mental condition with symptoms of depression.

Pitts believes Biggers became disoriented and left the hotel.

What happened after that remains a mystery?

"Passed that point anything could of happened uh someone could have picked her up and given her a ride," says Pitts.

Both Don Biggers and investigators say they still receive calls and tips, but they all seem to lead to dead ends.

Pitts Hopes Biggers will regain her memory, Biggers husband is counting on it.

"We believe we will find her we just don't know when."

The Biggers family is still offering a 20-thousand dollar reward for information leading to Pam Biggers.
