You may remember 6-year-old Hannah Finch...a lot of people do! The little girl from Chipley is collecting soda can tabs for the Shriners hospital.

"I've been saving tabs every month," said Hannah.

Hannah's original goal was 1 million tabs, but currently Hannah is just 50,000 tabs away from reaching *four* million.

She wants to give the tabs over to the folks at the Shriners Hospital in Tampa at her next appointment – which will be in two weeks. Hannah has to wear braces because she suffers from a condition called "Severe Pigeon Toe" and has been a patient of the Shriner's Hospital for a very long time.

She says she wants to help other children who have to spend time in the hospital...and that's what the tabs are for.

The Shriners have an agreement with a soda canning company that they will make a certain donation for every aluminum soda tab collected.

Here is a list of area locations if you would like to drop off tabs that you’ve collected to help Hanna reach her goal:

I have been collecting the tabs for years, and giving to the Ronald McDonald House. After reading her story, at the time their house burned, I really wanted to give then to her. Thank you for listing the places these can be dropped off.

I am so proud of her! If I lived in the area, I would definitely help her reach her goals.
