A Marianna man, who's also an Auxiliary Deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, is in jail facing serious charges.
Sheriff's investigators and Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents arrested 48-year old Gregory Conners this afternoon, charging him with attempted murder and aggravated stalking.
Authorities say Conners has been plotting the murder of his estranged wife for weeks now. They say they have video tape evidence of Conners’ stalking the woman and her boyfriend.
Conner is a Firearms Instructor for the law enforcement training course at Chipola College.
“I am disappointed with Conner’s actions,” said Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts. “I am glad that Conner and his family were unharmed in the incident.”
The State Attorney’s Office for the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit assisted in the investigation.
He is currently being held in the Jackson County Jail and is due in court Friday for a bond hearing.

I looked under the Gadsden County Clerk of Court and all I saw was a Divorce Degree and some property exchanges. Secondly, I know for a fact that if a Law Enforcement Officer ever has a restraining order against them that is upheld by a judge then they automatically loose their Law Enforcement Standards. The incident you are speaking of was a teenage neighbor of Greg's that just didn't get what she wanted.
