Classes as Usual in Bonifay Friday

Deputies are still investigating threatening messages that were left at Holmes County High School last week.

So far a suspect has not been found. The school has now decided to keep its regular class schedule on Friday.

The Holmes County Sheriff's Department is still searching for a student who left a threatening message inside a book at the high school last week. So far there are no suspects.

The school sent home a note with students Wednesday. Both the School Superintendent and the principal say they have not decided to cancel classes on Friday, but they will be lax on the attendance policy, as far as kids being counted absent.

Some parents say they are satisfied with the school's decision to keep the school open.

"I feel like they've done everything to keep them safe. My daughter will be there Friday."

Extra school personnel and Holmes County deputies will be on hand throughout the day to make sure there are no problems.
