More than 100 local volunteers came together for the Sixth Annual Comcast Cares Day.
Their goal is to improve the building facilities of Saint Andrew Bay Center in Lynn Haven, which helps mentally and physically challenged members of our community.
Cil Schnitker with Comcast said, "Once a year all Comcast systems throughout the United States join together. We select a community project and there's more than 30,000 Comcast employees and their family members and friends that are out working in the community trying to make a difference."
Walter Kelley, Lynn Haven Mayor, added, "It's important to me because this is a special place within our community."
Volunteers say the Saint Andrew Bay Center is still in need of donations like refrigerators, cabinets and other household items.
