The 8 law enforcement officers slain in Florida during 2008 were remembered Sunday by the Panama City Police Department through their Annual Charity Bike Ride.

This year was the 9th year for the charity event, but this year officers were riding motorcycles instead of bicycles.

The riders started Sunday afternoon at the Panama City Mall and made their way 100 miles to Tallahassee.

To ride this year it cost $20.00, but every dime will be used to support families of law enforcement officers injured or killed in the line of duty.
