An out of control car slams into another car, sending most of the drivers and passengers to the hospital.

It happened Sunday night in Calhoun County just after 6p.m. at CR 274 just one mile west of CR 69a.

According to Florida Highway Patrol Troopers, 30-year-old Michael Arguelles was driving with 34-year-old Gregory Hartzell as his passenger.

The Blountstown residents were traveling west on CR 274 when Arguelles ran off the road and began to spin the car.

In the midst of the out of control car they hit another car 38-year-old Roy Pickron and Troy Champion, also Blountstown residents.

Pickron tried to avoid the collision, but it was too late.

Both cars ended up in a ditch on the side of CR 274.

Both Arguelles and Hartzell were rushed to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where Arguelles is in serious condition and Hartzell in critical.

Pickron only suffered minor injuries while Champion was taken to Calhoun Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
