Jackson County Sheriff's investigators are asking for your help in solving an older missing person case.
Elissa McDaniel Martin left her father's home in Campbellton on May 15th, 2004, to go for a short walk.
No one has seen her since.
Authorities searched for her for several days, but never found anything. Martin had lived mostly in the Miami area.
Authorities say she was also suffering with some psychological issues. She'd only been in town for a few days when she vanished.
"We have conducted some interviews. The fact of her being here only four days, reduced the amount of people that had contact with her during that time," says Jackson County UnderSheriff Donnie Branch.
Martin was 34 years old at the time. She'd now be 39.
This Friday will be the 5th anniversary of her disappearance, and Sheriff's officials want to bring closure on this case.
If you have any information about this case, please contact the Jackson County Sheriff's Office at 482-9624.
