Cops for Kids Day has been organized by Panama City Beach police for 15 years. They gather together local law enforcement from all over Bay County as well as military from
Eglin, Hulbert and the Coast Guard for a day of showing kids what they do and teaching them how to be safe.
Kids got a chance to see police officers do special maneuvers on motorcycles. They got to see how the dogs of the K-9 patrol do their work, and they had a chance to climb aboard military boats and helicopters.
The event was held at Arnold High School in Panama City Beach on Saturday. Organizers said they were proud of the turnout.
