The Bay County pier at Panama City Beach is now open and ready for visitors.
Monday morning Bay County and Panama City Beach commissioners cut the ribbon on the M-B Miller pavilion plaza.
The changes are part one of a three phase plan approved two years ago.
County commissioners used 200-thousand dollars from a state grant, and Panama City Beach contributed 750-thousand dollars.
The public was invited to this Monday’s ceremony and several people came to check out the major renovations.
