Monday night’s final debate between the candidates for governor turned out to be a rather unusual spectacle.
Reform Party candidate Max Linn got in at the last minute, thanks to a federal judge. And with Chris Matthews of MSNBC’s Hardball pitching the questions, the governor says things got a bit weird.
The morniung after, Jeb Bush told reporters, “It’s more like oddball, not hardball. It was just odd. The guy was… Mr. Linn was a little odd and Mr. Matthews…who really is pretty good at the national scene… really didn’t do his homework, I don’t think, on what’s going on in Florida.”
All three candidates are claiming victory in Monday night’s debate… the final showdown in the race for governor before the Election Day.
