You never know who may be living next door.

After six years hiding from Indiana Police, a woman suspected of stealing almost a half million dollars is in custody.

Police finally found her in Walton County.

Neighbors say Cindy Blanchard had been living in a houseboat just east of Bruce, Florida for three years.

Police in Kokomo, Indiana say Blanchard's real name is Cynthia Wismiller.

Indiana authorities have been looking for her since 2000, when they say she stole $486,000 dollars from area ATMs.

Family phone records led Kokomo detectives to believe Wismiller was in Walton County.

They contacted the Walton County Sheriff's Department. Sheriff's deputies then confirmed that Blanchard was really Wismiller, and were making plans to arrest her.

However, Wismiller didn't run again. Instead, she drove to Kokomo, Indiana and turned herself into police on Monday.

Wismiller is being held in Howard County, Indiana on three counts of burglary and three counts of theft.
