Local centarian Jimmy Hentz died Sunday at his home in Panama City.
Hentz was honored by the Panama City Rotary Club when he celebrated his 100th birthday on September 13.
Hentz, born in Calhoun County, had lived in Panama City since 1937
He had 41 consecutive years of perfect attendance in the Rotary Club and was a member of many civic organizations.
There are many survivors; heading the list is his wife of 70 years, Harriet Hentz.
The funeral will be Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Panama City. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Garden.
