The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that took place on Landview Drive in Fort Walton Beach around six o'clock this evening (Wednesday).

Deputies responded to reports of a fight in the street and multiple shots fired.

A female was hit once in the upper arm and was transported by medical helicopter to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.

Deputies closed down several nearby streets while searching for individuals involved.
