Florida Shoreline Fishing License
A new $7.50 shoreline fishing license went on sale Wednesday. Beginning August first, anyone fishing from shore must have one of the licenses. Only 73 people bought one the day they went on sale, but thousands more will need one.

I'm confused, paragraph 1 says: Beginning August first, anyone fishing from shore must have one of the licenses, but the next to last paragraph says:People over 65 or under 16 are exempt from buying all fishing licenses. I am 68 and will turn 69 in Dec. Is a license required to fish from the shore and bridges?

This is just another way for the state to get money from the people. The poor man still got to pay to fish from the shore to help feed is family.
