A LOCAL TEEN IS ³
RECOVERING FROM SERIOUS ³
³ INJURIES SATURDAY NIGHT. ³

³ THE 14-YEAR-OLD BOY WAS ³
³ RUNNING ACROSS 23RD STREET ³
³ LAST NIGHT AROUND 11 P-M, ³
³ TRYING TO GET TO A SUBWAY ³
³ RESTAURANT ON THE CORNER OF ³
³ 23RD AND MICHIGAN AVENUE. ³
³ A BLUE MUSTANG STRUCK THE ³
³ TEEN AS HE RAN INTO THE ³
³ STREET. ³
³ PANAMA CITY POLICE ³
³ SAY THE BOY SUFFERED SOME ³
³ LEG INJURIES, AND POSSIBLY ³
³ INTERNAL INJURIES AS ³
³ WELL.
BUT THEY SAY HE WAS ³
³ COHERENT AT THE SCENE. POLICE SAY THE ACCIDENT ³
COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. ³
