The State Fire Marshall is investigating a house fire that started in Hiland Park Friday night. It took crews from a half a dozen fire stations several hours to put the fire out.
Authorities aren’t giving very many details about the fire that broke out around 10:30 PM on Game Farm Road just east of Transmitter Road. The fire started in an abandoned home.
The damage was extensive, but luckily the home was vacant.
Some neighbors told our camera crews they had seen a suspicious man walking around the area earlier in the day. But authorities haven’t confirmed if the fire is suspicious.
Fire crews were called out again around 5:30 Saturday morning after the fire re-kindled itself. No one was injured
