Some local condo owners are fighting the Bay County Code Enforcement office over some sliding glass doors.
The owners at Pinnacle Port at Phillips Inlet are replacing the doors. County building officials granted a building permit for the work, but stopped the project when they discovered the new glass doors didn't meet state building codes.
So, the owners at Pinnacle Port are challenging the code enforcement stop work order.
The homeowner association members are appealing to the code enforcement board, saying they're satisfied with the new windows and doors, but building officials say they've received several complaints from handicapped residents who are unable to maneuver through the narrower opening.
The matter goes to a hearing Tuesday afternoon for resolution.
