Roundup Nets 22 Arrests

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division teamed up with DEA, FDLE, the Panama City Police Department, the Parker Police Department, the Springfield Police Department, the State Attorney’s Office, and State Probation and Parole for a three month investigation that resulted in 22 arrests.

During the investigation, undercover drug operations were done and warrants then obtained on the individuals involved. Most of these drug transactions were done within 1000 feet of a church. As a result, any charge is raised to a higher felony.

On March 14 and 15, the warrants were served and 22 arrested on drug charges, most of which were Sale of Cocaine charges.

Those arrested were Jerry B. Gaines, 35, of 3027 Douglas Road, Panama City; Pamela D. Hayes, 40, of 609 Jennings Avenue, Panama City; Rodney Taylor, 26, of 2437 E. 11th Street, Panama City; Rueben Leggett, 23, of 304 Garuso, Panama City; Justin Leggett, 18, of 3510 St. Johns, Panama City; Ronald Cole, 18, of 128 Claire Avenue, Panama City; Donald Cole, 18, of 128 Claire Avenue, Panama City; Karen Durant, 39, a transient; Joshua Weeks, 28, of 6520 Smith Road; Linnyon Capehart, DOB 42, of 519 Everett Avenue; Corey Stanley, 21, of 806 Elm Avenue; Robin Watts, 32, of 3806 E. 9th Street, Springfield; Kelvin Smith, 30, of 1011 Virginia Avenue, Lynn Haven; Jason Woods, 26, of 325 James Street, Callaway; Malcolm Delancy, 26, of 5807 Butler Drive, Panama City; Marcus Louder, 28, of 708 Russ Lake Drive; Donald Townsend, 31, of 9136 Sunshine Drive, Youngstown.

Also jailed were: Ahmad Jihad, 50, of 214 Harmon Avenue; David Saenz, 30, of 3416 Tiki Drive, Panama City Beach; Sondrea Woods, 33, of 4587 LeMans Drive; Marquis Rashod Jenkins, 17, of 1113 Cypress, Panama City; and Johnny LeePickett, 18, of 2203 E. 8th Street.

Three individuals have not yet been located. They are Quinton J. Christian, 17, Ronald Eugene Anderson, 50, and Johnnie Lee Casey, 19.
