"Twinkle twinkle twinkle little star how I wonder what you are," sings Christopher Tindell.
Christopher Tindell was just three-years-old when his 13-year-old sister was killed at her bus stop last October.
Melissa "Missy" Tindell was apparently running after a kitten that had wandered into the road.
"I'm so glad I told her I love her that was the last thing I told her," says Allen Tindell Missy's dad.
Christopher says his big sister is in heaven with the angels. Her parents agree.
Just days after Missy passed away her father found this drawing in his Bible. It says peace, not sad, be happy, love. He says it's little things like this that have gotten him through.
Although, a year has past since Missy died, Allen and Mary Tindell say their pain is still fresh.
Their wounds reopened a bit Wednesday morning, when they heard about Julie Lister's death and Michael McFall's injuries.
They feel for the children's parents.
"We know what your going through we've been through it and if you need to talk to somebody call us up," Mary Tindell.
The Tindells are also hoping this tragedy will convince local officials to do more to improve traffic safety around the places that children frequent, like bus stops.
Her parents are accepting donations for the Melissa Tindell Memorial Fund. The money will go to help place "Keep Kids Alive - Drive 25" signs at every bus stop in Bay County. Link to that website: http://www.melissatindell.org/
