Federal agents from several different agencies were at the offices of Aztec Environmental at 475 Harrison Avenue most of the day Wednesday.
Among those present were representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency. Len Register, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorneys office in Pensacola told NewsChannel 7 it’s too early in the investigation to release any information.
Aztec Environmental removes and disposes of asbestos and lead from buildings.
The company also operates a construction and demolition landfill.
