Stolen Semi-Seafood Truck Recovered in Tate's Hell State Forest
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reports that at approximately 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night, a 2003 Kenworth semi-seafood truck was stolen from Barber’s Seafood in Eastpoint, Florida.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reports that at approximately 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night, a 2003 Kenworth semi-seafood truck was stolen from Barber’s Seafood in Eastpoint, Florida.

The investigation, led by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Department of Agriculture Law Enforcement Officer Terry Martin, led to the location of the stolen truck in Tate’s Hell State Forest at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. The vehicle had little damage from being driven through several bridges and barricades in Tate’s Hell State Forest. With the assistance from the Florida Department of Forestry, the vehicle was removed from the sandy area it was stuck in.

The value and contents of the stolen vehicle is estimated at $120,000.00. Arrests in the case are pending.
