And over in Jackson County, another community group also tried to fill a spiritual need through serving a Thanksgiving meal.

The King's Table, which is a ministry of New Life Family Church in Marianna, served almost 400 people this morning at the Grocery Outlet parking lot.
Volunteers provided a full Thanksgiving dinner, all of which was donated by citizens and businesses.
The Christian ministry also cooks and delivers hot meals to seniors and shut-ins across the county once-a-week.
Founder Lori Gregg says everything they do centers around sharing the true meaning of the gospel with people.

"We want to share His love and we want them to know that there is a Savior out there who loves them. And we pass out a gospel of John with each meal and so we try to meet a spiritual need as well as a tangible need with the food."

This is the seventh year The King's Table has held its Thanksgiving dinner event.
