Walton County Sheriff investigators say the body of 21-year-old Michael Bozeman came to the surface around 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon near a fishing camp his family owns.
Deputies took the body up-river near Ebro where they took it out of the water.
Deputies believe 21-year-old Michael Bozeman’s fishing boat hit a tree stump in the Choctawhatchee River Saturday afternoon. The boat flipped tossing Bozeman overboard.
Several law enforcement agencies and numerous citizens helped with the search.
Bad weather over the weekend, clouded the already murky river, making it difficult for divers to see underwater, lengthening the search.
