Walton County Christmas Charities
Two great Walton County stories to tell you about. One where senior citizens are benefiting and the other where children are benefiting.

WALTON COUNTY-Just five days to Christmas and now 200 underprivileged children will have at least one toy underneath the tree this Friday morning.
The fund raising effort was put on Sunday by the Walton County Sheriff's Santa Patrol Project.
Despite the downturn in the economy organizers are thanking the contributing people and businesses.
Officials say it's heart warming to know folks weren't able to contribute as much as they had in the past, but they still gave what they could.
Also in Walton County the "Santa for Seniors" group is trying to help out local seniors during the holiday season.
What they do is have individuals and businesses adopt a Freeport or DeFuniak Spring's senior.
On Sunday the organization joined up with several Walton County Sheriff's Deputies to distribute those collected items.
