This morning, women across Panama City enjoyed the 7th Annual Women's Expo hosted by the American Red Cross.

Local vendors at the Panama City Mall helped women with everything from storm preparedness to makeup artistry. Only women were allowed roll the Red Cross dice for a chance to win $5,000.

Local country singer George Arthur also performed at the event, he says it's always an honor to help out the Red Cross.

"It's great because you're performing for those who help others. I sang a song today called shine the light, and that's what these folks do, they shine the light in the darkness."

Bob Pearce, the Director of the American Red Cross, says that in situations like a house fire at three in the morning, the Red Cross is there to help those affected with clothes, food, and a place to stay.

Money raised at this event will fund aid-efforts like those.
