A federal judge sentenced 64-year-old David Martinelli Monday.
From 1995 to 2000 Martinelli ran three Panama City Beach companies that were supposed to help people sell their business.
Investigators say Martinelli would take an up front fee from the business owners, then do very little to help them sell their business. The judge also ordered Martinelli to pay a $150,000 fine.
He's already forfeited $4.4 million in cash and property.
