MAD Unit Hits Meth Lab on 23rd Street
A meth lab in a 23rd street motel room was found by police over the weekend. Investigators from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division and the Panama City Police Department received served a search warrant on the room late Saturday night.

A meth lab in a 23rd street motel room was found by police over the weekend.
Investigators from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division and the Panama City Police Department received served a search warrant on the room late Saturday night.
Two suspects were arrested, booth methamphetamine on them. Arrested were Mark Leslie Redd, 29 years old, and Laura Lee Auvil, 24.
They are charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of listed Chemical (Acetone), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The two have been “persons of interest” for the past month after their names have shown up frequently on the Sudafed Logs that area merchants are required by the state maintain.
The Sudafed Logs are turned over the Bay County Sheriffs Office MAD Unit. Mark Leslie Redd was on felony probation for Possession of Meth at the time of his most recent arrest.
