The last of the local work crews who helped out in the Charley relief effort are finally home.

Eighteen crew members from Panama City Public Works arrived home Friday afternoon from Frostproof, Florida. They worked more than 100 hours in the week that they were in the small town of about 3,000.

They hauled downed-trees, cleared roadways and cleaned up parks. Seven Panama City police officers and six leisure service workers returned home earlier this week.
