Area Man Dies From Motorcycle Crash Injuries

A Vernon man has died from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle crash earlier this month.

The Florida Highway Patrol had said the crash happened while Michael Miller, 52 years old, was riding his motorcycle on County Road 3280 near Smoke House Lake Road in Walton County.

Troopers say Miller failed to negotiate a curve in the highway and veered off the pavement onto the shoulder. He was thrown from the bike and landed in a water filled drainage ditch.

He had been in critical condition in an area hospital until his death this week.
