The Bay County Sheriff’s Office will hold an auction of surplus property Saturday.
The auction will be held behind the Bay County Sheriff’s Office with registration beginning at 7 a.m. and the auction beginning at 8 a.m. The auction will last until the last item is sold.
Items can be inspected ONLY the day of the auction between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Sale will be to the highest responsible bidder for cash or check only.
Items to be auctioned include about 50 used vehicles, scooters, a motorcycle, and miscellaneous scrap metal, wood, video cameras, typewriters, a Porsche set of rims and a set of F-150 rims. Everything is offered in “as-is” condition. Some of the vehicles do not run.
Vehicles to be auctioned include a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro, a 1969 Camaro shell, a 1968 and ’69 Mustang shell, a 2006 Dodge Durango, a 2003 4 Door Cadillac, a 1996 Volvo, a school bus and a backhoe.
Parking for the auction will be in the front parking lot of the Sheriff’s Office located on Highway 77 in Panama City, or in a field behind the Sheriff’s office off of 34th Street.
