Special Needs Child Has Been Found

Breaking news: A missing special needs child has been located.

16-year-old Teri Creamer climbed the fence outside her home on Skunk Valley Lane in Southport around 7:30 Thursday night.

The Bay County sheriff's office and a team of volunteers has been searching ever since. Teri's grandfather and a friend just located her just before noon in a wooded area off Prosper Road.

She is okay other than a few scratches on her legs.

Teri tells us she got turned around and couldn't find her way home.

During the search for Teri, deputies also found a meth lab. They were checking registered sex offenders who live in the area. One of them refused to let deputies come inside. Turns out he was not hiding the girl. He was hiding a meth lab in his home.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office is looking for a special needs child, missing since Thursday night.

Deputies say 16-year-old Teri Creamer left her home on Skunk Valley Lane in Southport about 7:30 p.m. and has not been seen since.

Teri is about 5'0" tall, 100 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair. She was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and jean shorts.

BCSO is using air and canine units to search for the teen, who is said to have the mentality of a 10-year-old, but had been unable to locate Creamer as of Friday morning.

The BCSO has been searching by ground and air since Teri's parents reported her missing.
