Sheriff's Office Collecting Donations For Hurricane Sandy Victims

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is collecting donations for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Sandy caused more than 52-million dollars in damages, second only to Hurricane Katrina. More than 750,000 homes and businesses, mostly in New Jersey and New York, are still in the dark. Now a nor'easter is dumping heavy snow across the region.

The supplies collected by the Sheriff’s Office will be sent to the Toms River community in New Jersey, the hometown of their own Sergeant Bill Brotherston.

Totes of All Sizes for Storing
Cash to Purchase 7-11 and Wawa Gift Cards Upon Arrival
Giftcards from Home Depot or Lowes

Please bring donations to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at 3421 North Highway 77 in Panama City between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Donations will be accepted until 5pm November 16th.

Brotherson will personally deliver the donations to Toms River.
