This weekend's unseasonably warm weather brought out a lot of surfers and people sunbathing, but residents at Carl Gray Park were in for a special treat that was out of the ordinary.
The Baggett family has made several non-traditional boat houses. The houses float on the water and have electricity supplied by generators. The unique contraption has a second level with a view and enough space to take a nap while watching the sun set on the horizon.
"This one's more like a little camp," said Ronda Baggett. "We run off a generator so we can have our little iPads charged up. It just makes for a real comfortable situation."
If the boat happens to look familiar, you may recognize it because it was also part of the boat parade in 2012.
