Breakfast Point's Halloween Vocabulary Word Parade

The entire Breakfast Point Academy student body, that's almost 1,100 kids, dressed up like a vocabulary words or storybook characters Wednesday morning.

The students paraded in the costumes led by Arnold High School's Drum Line.

Dressing up like vocabulary words and favorite book characters has become a recent trend among schools across the country combining education with Halloween fun!

“Our k thru 2nd grade kids and middle school kids are dressing up as storybook today and our 3rd thru 5th grade are dressing up as vocabulary words. The kids just did a fabulous job, we appreciate the Arnold drum line coming out and supporting us today and the kids are having a great time they all look fabulous," said Amanda Walker.

Parker Elementary was another local school holding vocabulary costume festivities.
