A Panama City Beach restaurant went up in flames Saturday morning.
Officials from Panama City Beach Fire Rescue say they received the call about the fire at Captain Joe's Buffet on Front Beach Road around 4:30 in the morning.
They say flames were shooting out of the building when they first arrived on scene.
It took nearly an hour to get the blaze under control.
The building suffered heavy damage.
No one was injured. The building had shut down for the season and is set to re-open in March of 2013.
The state Fire Marshall's Office has taken over the investigation.
