Fans of Chick-fil-A were able to score some free food for dressing up as their friendly mascot Friday.
Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide celebrate their annual Cow Appreciate Day by offering a free meal to any customer who visits fully dressed as a cow. Customers who opted to wear cow accessories or shirts are rewarded with a complimentary entree.
The event got attention from residents across Bay County, Lindsay Jackson said that dressing up for events like this is nothing new for her. "I love Chick-fil, I didn't think it was gonna be stupid. I'm used to going to like, these anime conventions where you dress up like characters so I actually like dressing up."
