Commercial Fire On Front Beach Road

Panama City Beach firefighters are on the scene of a commercial fire on Front Beach Road.

A 30 by 40 foot shed at Millers Motorsports (8014 Front Beach Road) caught fire around 3:15 p.m. At one point, flames were shooting 10-15 feet in the air.

People at the business next door to Millers first spotted the fire and called 911.

Firefighters kept the flames from reaching nearby boats which are very flammable because they're made from fiberglass.

Heavy smoke forced police to close Front Beach between the store and News Channel 7 (8195 Front Beach Road) for about 30 minutes.
