Some children in Bay County had the opportunity Saturday to express their artistic side all for a good cause.

Covenant Hospice with Art Garden Gallery put together the 8th annual Junior Mask Project. Kids were given clay masks and endless decorating supplies to work on their master pieces.

The finished masks will be featured in the mask parade gala benefiting Covenant Hospice and some of them will be up for bid.

Proceeds from the masks will go to the local Covenant Hospice program that give compassionate care to patients facing life limiting illnesses regardless of their ability to pay.
