DeFuniak Springs Police Officers Catch Gator

Police officers never know what they’ll face when they put on their badge and walk out the door.

Two DeFuniak Police Officers came face to face with a “fierce” alligator. The 3-foot long reptile was roaming around Shoemaker Drive

Sergeant Bayne and Officer Jones were able to capture the alligator without being bitten or harming it. They called the Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission who took they gator to the Juniper Lake area and released it.
