A two-vehicle crash in Geneva County in southeast Alabama has killed a Defuniak Springs resident.
The crash occurred on Alabama 167 at the intersection of Geneva County 41, five miles north of Hartford.
Alabama State Troopers say Jacqulin G. Herring, 60, of Defuniak Springs, Fla., was driving a 2004 Jeep when she ran a stop sign and was struck by a 2008 Mitsubishi Galant driven by David Smith, 39, of Enterprise.
A passenger in Herring’s vehicle, Raynell Free Goodwin, 85, also from Defuniak Springs, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Smith and a passenger in his vehicle were taken to Wiregrass Hospital in Geneva for treatment of their injuries.
Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
