Earl started his television career in the late 1950’s at Channel 7 when the station’s call letters were WJDM, later to become the current WJHG.
He left Newschannel 7 in the early 1980’s when he became Congressman Earl Hutto’s District Administrator.
Earl and his wife Chloe spent a number of years working summer months at Yellowstone National Park greeting international visitors.
He always said one of his proudest moments was what you see here, the awarding of the Paul Harris Fellow from Rotary International for promoting international friendship and understanding.
Earl Hadaway died around 6:30 Thursday morning following an extended illness.
