The Florida Highway Patrol says 35 year old Tawayne McCaskilll of Ponce De Leon died on State Road 85 north of Duke Field when the car went out of control while changing lanes and crashed into the side of a van he was trying to pass.
Troopers say McCaskill’s car then ran into the grassy median and rolled over several times. He was not wearing his seatbelt and was partially thrown out.
He died at the scene and the other driver 72 year old Robert Shay of Pennsylvania sustained minor injuries.
The 4:30 AM Sunday accident is still under investigation.
