Panama City Police officers and detectives responded to the West 15th Street Waffle House shortly around 3:00 am Friday morning.
Employees inside say a white male, 40 to 50 years of age entered the business, demanded money, and threatened that he had a weapon but one was not displayed.
After obtaining an undetermined amount of money from the register, the male fled on foot. He was last seen running east along 15th Street.
Employees further described the male as having gray crew cut hairstyle, no facial hair, wearing a ball cap hat, dark hooded jacket and red shorts. The male had multiple tattoos visible on his legs.
