The Child Development Academy at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church has catered to children ages six-weeks-old to five-years-old, of all faiths, for the last 20 years.
The center takes care of over 130 children.
When St. Bernadette's Church was flooded in Thursday's rainstorm, the center got the brunt of the damage, with over six inches of flooding.
Father Paul Smith with the church says they are still able to care for the children in some of their smaller buildings, but have very few resources left.
"We're having to replace just about everything. Books, toys, clothes, diapers, all things like that had to be discarded," he said.
Church officials say it will take several weeks if not longer to get the center restored.
The church had also just put in new carpeting a couple weeks before, only to be torn up Friday.
