Police arrested a woman they say stole $3,000 worth of cell phones from Best Buy in Panama City.
Best Buy employees found empty cell phone boxes in the women's restroom on Thursday. They checked the surveillance video and then called police.
Around 10:30 this morning, police say the same woman came back, took more cell phones into the restroom and walked out of the store. Employees found more empty boxes in the restroom, but this time, they were able to stop the woman in the parking lot. Police found some of the stolen phones in the woman's car and purse.
Detectives charged 37-year-old Stephanie Hutchinson with grand theft-retail.
This case remains under investigation and more arrests are expected.
