PANAMA CITY - It's grown into one of the largest and most anticipated Easter productions in Northwest Florida.
St. Andrews Baptist Church hosted the Panama City Passion play at the Marina Civic Center Thursday evening.
It's a major undertaking every year...turning the Civic Center into the city of Jerusalem 2,000 years ago.
The production is in it's 11th year. Admission is free with a can of donated food and no tickets are required.
Jeremy Johnson, the Minister of Adults & Evangelism for St. Andrews Baptist said, "The donated cans of food go to our center of hope which is a ministry of St. Andrews Baptist Church. We actually have eleven local churches that help us there but those go back in to the community to feed people who are in times of need."
The Passion Play will be repeated Friday evening at 7 P.M. and a matinee Saturday afternoon at 4 P.M.
