Man Allegedly Hits Friend With Machete

A Niceville man has been arrested after allegedly attacking his friend with a machete.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Deputies say 56 year old Buddy Fuller was drinking with a friend Friday night.

The two got into an argument. Deputies say Fuller reached for a machete, started swinging, and struck his friend in the left wrist.

His friend received a severe laceration and was taken to Twin Cities Hospital in Niceville for treatment.

Investigators say Fuller changed his story about what happened several times and refused to get into their patrol car.

He's been charged with resisting arrest without violence and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
